SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY MARKET UPDATE AUGUST 2021

It's important to have a good understanding of what’s going on in our local market whether or not you plan to buy or sell anytime soon.

There were 374 new listings in August, the lowest since January. This is down 16% from the previous five-year average of 445 new listings per month. Inventory remained flat as we ended the month with 525 active listings. There were 401 closed sales last month which kept pace with August 2020's 404 sales, and well over the five-year average of 365 closed sales.
